## Eligibility & scope

Open to researchers in all disciplines at German research institutions holding a doctorate. Funds close collaborative alliances of several researchers on a joint research project, typically fewer than ten sub-projects, majority based at universities. Includes Clinical Research Units and Centres for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences as variants.
