## Eligibility & scope

This scheme is closed. For researchers with a PhD developing a novel idea toward a future larger grant application. Must be based at an eligible host organisation in UK, Republic of Ireland or a low/middle-income country (excluding India); not eligible if salary is core-funded via listed institutes (e.g. MRC, BBSRC, CRUK centres).
