## Eligibility & scope

For early-career researchers (PhD passed + ≤3 years postdoc, with allowances). Administering organisation must be in UK, Republic of Ireland, or eligible LMIC (not India or mainland China); must be not-for-profit HEI, research institute, or healthcare org. At least 80% research time required; no co-applicants accepted. Grant funds cannot be transferred to mainland China.
