Eligibility & scope
Funds clinical validation of known cancer biomarkers (TRL5/6) for use in daily clinical practice. Requires a multidisciplinary consortium of ≥4 parties including biostatistician and HTA expert; patient involvement mandatory. For-profit partners >250 FTE must co-finance 10% of KWF budget. Early HTA is a mandatory application component. All cancer types eligible; biomarkers for treatment side-effect prediction are out of scope.
