Eligibility & scope
Open to laboratories, organisations, or collaborative projects focused on fighting blindness and visual impairment, primarily in developing regions, and/or developing innovations/new technologies for the visually impaired (odd-year focus). Candidates may span multiple disciplines or institutions. Award funds may be used for research, clinical practice, or public health programmes, excluding commercial purposes.
