Postdoctoral mobility fellowship for researchers with Swiss ties (Swiss nationals, C-permit holders, or PhD/state exam at Swiss HEI). Must apply within 3 years of PhD defence (or 8 years post-state exam for MDs). Requires a research stay abroad; return to institution of education not permitted. Part-time (min. 0.8 FTE) allowed for return grant phase with family care duties.

Fellowship for researchers who have recently completed their doctorate, enabling them to spend time doing research abroad. Applicants must be based in Switzerland. Supports deepening knowledge, widening networks, and strengthening academic profiles through a research stay in another country.

Interdisciplinary body-brain interaction research bridging neuroscience and cardiometabolic fields. 2–3 applicants required; at least one anchored at a Danish non-commercial institution and one at a non-Danish European non-commercial institution. Applicants must be independent researchers. No commercial activities, drug trials with industry, or overhead costs funded. Entrepreneur in Residence from the Royal Society, the UK's national academy of sciences. Funds research and fellowships across the natural sciences; most schemes require a UK host institution (some exchange and visiting schemes involve overseas partners). Applications close 19 August 2026.

Research must involve patients/humans and/or clinical practice, diagnostic or therapeutic methods, or established animal models. Annual autumn call for major grants, research grants, and doctoral dissertation grants in cancer research. Awarded by the Board of the Cancer Foundation Finland. Includes dissertation (doctoral) grants making it relevant for early-career researchers as well. Finnish institution affiliation expected; largest private cancer research funder in Finland.

Three non-targeted major grants of €600k each for biological, clinical, epidemiological and psychosocial cancer research conducted in Finland. Grants will not be awarded to researchers funded by the tobacco industry. Results announced December 2026.

South African partner must be affiliated with a recognised public higher education or research institution in South Africa. Proposals must be submitted in English. Max 2 simultaneous SNSF project grants per applicant; topics must be clearly distinct. Projects start on the same date in both countries.

DFG funding for Ukrainian researchers as part of expanded refugee researcher support. Covers living expenses up to €1,000/month per Ukrainian project leader and allows supplemental proposals to include Ukrainian partners in existing German or German-Ukrainian projects.
