Open to researchers with an ongoing or recently finished KWF drug research project (start ≥6 months ago, end ≤1.5 years before 1 July 2026). Funds access to clinically relevant preclinical models, technologies and expertise (e.g. NAMs, PDX, organoids, CROs) to improve translational value. Dutch institutions only; commercial partner involvement requires a letter of intent.

Add-on funding exclusively for ongoing or recently completed KWF projects to strengthen translational relevance of oncology drug development. Supports training, implementation, and validation of advanced preclinical models; outsourcing to academic service providers or CROs is allowed.

Supports academic-led clinical trials (Phase I–III) for new investigational medicinal products targeting cancer with unmet medical needs. Lead institute must be in the Netherlands; public participating parties must be in Europe. Patient involvement required; public-private partnerships allowed. Proposals must be in English.

13th call for translational oncology research projects. Supports bench-to-bedside cancer research. Guidelines available in English; applicants should review 'What to consider before applying' before submitting.

Invites researchers and societal organisations to form a consortium to conduct research on reducing drug harm through effective societal interventions. Part of the NWA programme on drug harm reduction.

Supports excellent postdoctoral researchers in life sciences with international mobility as a key requirement. Fellows must move to a host laboratory in a different country. Includes salary/stipend, relocation allowance, and support for fellows with children. First-author refereed preprints accepted as equivalent to publications.

Open to early-career researchers (PhD or equivalent, up to ~3 years postdoctoral experience) at not-for-profit organisations in the UK, Republic of Ireland, or eligible low- and middle-income countries (excluding India and mainland China). Covers any discipline including STEM, humanities, social sciences, and clinical research aimed at advancing understanding or developing methodologies to benefit health. Applicants must contribute at least 80% research time; health professionals may retain up to 40% clinical duties.

For mid-career researchers ready to lead a substantial research programme. Administering organisation must be in the UK, Republic of Ireland, or a low/middle-income country (excluding India and mainland China); must be a not-for-profit HEI, research institute, or healthcare organisation. Applicant must contribute at least 80% research time; co-applicants not accepted.
