Eligibility & scope
Funds structured doctoral programs at Austrian research institutions. The existing doctoral program must have been running ≥2 years at application deadline. Balanced gender distribution required (≥1/3 underrepresented gender). Lead institution must provide binding basic funding and infrastructure. About 5 projects funded per call. No additional funding for ongoing FWF Doctoral Programs, doc.funds, or doc.funds.connect projects.
