Eligibility & scope
For early-career researchers within 5 years of PhD (or completing doctorate imminently). Must be hosted at an Austrian research institution (PROFI mode) with an Austrian mentor. Territoriality principle does not apply — applications can be submitted from abroad. Half of funds reserved for women; child allowance available for full-time employed women. No parallel ESPRIT or other FWF career programme applications permitted.
