Eligibility & scope
Open to early-career researchers who have not previously held competitive funding as project lead (PI) with postdoctoral staff support costs. UK-based academic institutions only; overseas and business-based applicants ineligible. Covers biotechnology and biological sciences research. Host institution must provide 20% FEC co-funding. Industry partners (IPA/LINK schemes) permitted as project partners.
