Lead research organisation must be UK-based; project partners (industry, academia, government, third sector) may be UK or overseas. Named partners expected to provide financial or in-kind leverage. No matched funding requirement beyond standard 20% FEC. Latest project start date 1 February 2027.

Supports outstanding early-career postdoctoral scientists seeking dual expertise in immunology and data science at the intersection of cancer immunology and bioinformatics/computational methods.

For postdoctoral researchers with <5 years mentored research experience at award activation, working at the intersection of cancer immunology and computational biology/data science. Must be conducted at a non-profit institution (US or abroad); no citizenship restrictions. Sponsor must hold assistant professor or higher rank. Proposals must be hypothesis-driven in basic or translational cancer immunology.

Horizon Europe RIA under the Cancer Mission. Requires development of multiscale AI-integrated Virtual Human Twins for cancer onset, progression and personalised treatment. Proposals must include clinical study annex if clinical studies are envisaged. Interdisciplinary consortia including healthcare professionals, patient representatives, AI experts and SMEs expected. Open science principles mandatory; data must be shared via UNCAN.eu and Advanced VHT Platform.

Funds mature digital, data-driven and AI-powered healthcare solutions ready to scale across European markets. Led by a Commercialising Entity (SME or industry player). Applicants must be legal entities established in eligible Horizon Europe countries (EU Member States, associated countries, or eligible third countries). 50% co-funding required. Covers commercialisation pilots, market adaptation, health economics analysis, and reimbursement pathway development.

UK applicants must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for EPSRC funding. Proposals must address quantum algorithms/encryption, quantum communications, computing, materials, or sensing. Equipment above £25,000/item and doctoral studentships are not funded. EPSRC funds 80% FEC; no matched funding required beyond standard 20% FEC.

Joint call (NSERC, DFG, JST, UKRI-EPSRC, NSF, NordForsk) for bilateral/multilateral research in quantum science and technologies: quantum algorithms/encryption, communications, computing, materials, and sensing. German applicants must be DFG-eligible; non-university researchers must comply with DFG form 55.01 duty-to-collaborate rule. Projects must include at least one NSERC-eligible Canadian researcher.

Clinical validation of known oncology biomarkers (TRL 5/6) for use in daily clinical practice. Requires multidisciplinary consortium of ≥4 parties, mandatory (early) HTA component, patient involvement, and robust statistical expertise. AI-component projects must engage AI4Health consortium. Discovery-phase (TRL 1–4) and side-effect biomarkers are out of scope.

Second three-year funding period of SPP 2458, covering combinatorics research across nine themes (enumeration, Dynkin classification, commutative algebra, matroids, convexity, lattice points, statistics, non-linear optimisation, mathematical physics). Proposals encouraged to address synergies between human mathematical insight and AI-supported methods. Open to new projects and renewals. Host institution must comply with DFG Code of Conduct for Good Research Practice.

Contracts for bioinformatics technical support staff at accredited Health Research Institutes (IIS) in Spain. Host institution must hold ISCIII IIS accreditation. Part of AES-LEIS 2024-2027 technical staff sub-programme.

Main applicant or at least one co-applicant must be a data science/computational science researcher employed at a Danish university or institution during the project period. Supports data science methods development and/or applications in life science, biomedical/health science, sustainability, agriculture, and related NNF focus areas. Projects focused on finance, surveillance, defence, gaming, or cybersecurity are out of scope.

For Professors with their own research group, primarily employed in Denmark at a university or non-profit research institution. Covers data science, AI, computational science, and applications in life/health/sustainability sciences. Applicants must be full-time researchers and contribute to educational activities in data science in Denmark. Projects in finance, surveillance, defense, gaming, etc. are out of scope.

For starting group leaders (senior postdocs, senior researchers, assistant professors) with 4–8 years post-PhD. Applicant must be employed and based in Denmark at a university or non-profit research institution. Must contribute to data/computational science education in Denmark. Covers algorithm/method development and/or applications in life science, health, sustainability, agriculture.

For Associate Professors or experienced Assistant Professors with 7–15 years post-PhD. Applicant must be employed and based in Denmark at a university or non-profit research institution. Must contribute to data/computational science education in Denmark. Covers algorithm/method development and/or applications in life science, health, sustainability, agriculture.

Provides GPU compute access (no cash funding) on the Isambard-AI cluster for AI-driven scientific discovery. Open to UK-registered businesses, UKRI-eligible research organisations, charities, and not-for-profits. Project lead must hold a contract longer than the proposed project and be at lecturer/equivalent level or above. Priority areas: AI for scientific discovery, engineering biology, fusion energy, materials science, medical research, quantum technology.
