Dutch co-applicant submits administrative submission to NWO as partner agency for a Weave bilateral proposal led by DFG. Eligible applicants: full/associate/assistant professors or equivalent with tenured or tenure-track position at eligible Dutch institutions. Main applicant must have participated in both collaborative workshops for the relevant theme. Proposals assessed on problem definition, impact, consortium quality, and research quality.

Co-funding required (min. 25%) if total project costs exceed €700k. Not intended for clinical trials, contract research, or predominantly investment-focused proposals. User committee of ≥4 knowledge users required.

Applicants must hold a tenured or tenure-track position at eligible Dutch research organisations (universities, UMCs, KNAW/NWO institutes, and listed institutes). Temporary contracts allowed only for small requests. Proposals must be written in English. No industry-partnership requirement.

Top-up call exclusively open to project leads of current or completed projects funded under three specific NWO KIC Mission calls (2020, 2021, 2022). Aims to integrate and disseminate knowledge gained from mission-driven innovation projects. Consortiums may collaborate jointly to request higher grants.

Open to Dutch knowledge institutions and societal stakeholders forming interdisciplinary, knowledge-chain-wide consortia. Research must address participation in education and (un)paid work for people with brain and/or mental disorders, including those with lower SEP or migration background. Transnational call under the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP). NWO funding is available for researchers based in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Three call modules expected: integrated energy system resilience (CM2026-01), heating and cooling technologies (CM2026-07), and integrated regional energy systems (CM2026-08).
